Since November of last year, Core Financial has continued to grow its talented team, welcoming several new colleagues and celebrating internal moves that position us for continued success. Each new team member brings unique experience and energy, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service and innovative financial systems solutions. Here’s a round-up of the new joiners and internal appointments that are shaping the next chapter at Core.
Internal Promotions
Catherine Moylan – Engagement Manager
With over 30 years of experience working with SunSystems and related technologies, Catherine has moved into a new role as Engagement Manager, focused on the Education and Training Board (ETB) sector. Catherine’s deep knowledge of the sector and long-standing relationships make her a natural fit to lead in this area. Her transition strengthens our customer engagement and ensures continuity for our valued clients.
Antonio Pesce – Solution Engineer
Antonio Pesce takes on a broader role as Solution Engineer, building on his background in business analysis, data engineering, and procurement. Antonio’s expanded remit will include Key Public Sector projects and Enterprise clients, where his technical insight and consulting expertise will shine.
New Joiners
Cian de Staic – Software Developer
Cian joined us earlier this year, bringing hands-on development experience from his time at Version 1 and freelance work. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s in Digital Business Design & Development, alongside multiple Microsoft certifications. His skills are a great addition to our growing development team as we expand our digital capabilities.
Edi Kadic – Technical Support
Originally from Croatia, Edi studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science before moving to Ireland in 2018. With strong technical support experience from PFH Technology and Worksmart Business Solutions, Edi has quickly become a dependable part of our support function, helping us deliver consistent, responsive service to our clients.
Jordan Bent – Software Developer
Jordan joined Core with three years of development experience at Avanade, where she specialised in Microsoft technologies. A Computer Science graduate with a passion for the outdoors, baking, and travel, Jordan brings both technical proficiency and a well-rounded perspective to our team.
Kerry O’Boyle – Sun Consultant
Kerry joined Core in April after a successful tenure at the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA), where she managed a wide range of finance systems and led numerous upgrade and improvement projects. She brings in-depth expertise in Infor SunSystems, Power Platform, SharePoint, and more. Outside of work, she’s an avid traveller, DJ, and music producer – and we hear she’s likely to get involved in our social events!
Dermot McMahon – Account Manager
Dermot is Core’s first-ever dedicated Account Manager. With over 14 years of experience managing key accounts across EMEA and the US, Dermot brings a strategic, customer-centric approach to account planning and relationship management. Reporting to CEO Karl, he will work closely with our top-tier clients to strengthen relationships and support long-term project success. Based in Dun Laoghaire, Dermot is a competitive sailor, diver, runner, and proud father of two.
