Karl O’Leary is the Chief Executive Officer of Core Financial Systems, a leading provider of financial management and business intelligence solutions. Karl champions the integration of AI to empower people and processes across customers’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application ecosystems. With a background in both technology and finance, Karl brings a unique perspective to leading Core’s innovative service delivery.

Under Karl’s leadership, Core is focused on enabling finance and shared service teams to simplify complexity, drive responsible innovation, and optimise technology investments for long-term impact. The company delivers tailored ERP software solutions backed by expert consulting to transform how organisations manage financial operations. Widely regarded for his strategic vision and track record in scaling teams and partnerships, Karl is committed to growing Core’s mission to deliver intelligent tools that enable smarter decision-making for its customers.

Before joining Core, Karl held senior international leadership roles at Microsoft and Salesforce, throughout his career he has focused on the impact of business applications to transform industries such as government, healthcare and education. A continuous learner, Karl holds diplomas in Strategy and Innovation and Cyber Security.

Jane Colgan​

CFO

Jane Colgan is the Chief Financial Officer at Core Financial Systems. A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, she is also a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Irish Tax Institute. Jane holds a B. Comm with French and a Masters in Accounting from NUIG and Smurfit Business School.

She began her career at Deloitte before moving to Australia to take up a role with Westpac. Later, she relocated back to Ireland, joining Multrees Investor Services in Asset Management, where she was Head of Finance based in Edinburgh and London. In this role, she played a key part in the company’s formative years, working closely with the operations team and the Financial Conduct Authority to ensure regulatory alignment.

After returning to Ireland, Jane joined Kennedy Wilson Europe Plc as Controller for a billion-dollar fund. She was part of the team responsible for managing acquisitions and integrating them into the Group. She was later promoted to manage the European portfolio, overseeing teams across London, Luxembourg, and Dublin, and working closely with the headquarters in Beverly Hills to drive regulatory and financial reporting.

A commercially focused CFO with a passion for people, Jane now oversees Core Financial Systems’ financial strategy while supporting the company’s growth objectives. Her leadership is vital in driving performance and operational efficiency.

John Brunnock

Head of Development

John Brunnock is the Head of Development at Core Financial Systems, a leading Irish provider of financial management and business intelligence solutions. In this role, John leads the software development function, overseeing the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that power Core’s product suite.

Before joining Core Financial Systems, John held positions at Bank of Ireland and other organisations, where he built deep expertise in software engineering and DevOps practices. His technical background includes Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, as well as hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.

At Core, John combines strategic oversight with technical leadership to ensure the development team delivers robust solutions aligned with client needs. His focus on innovation and continuous improvement plays a key role in supporting Core’s mission to empower smarter business decisions through intelligent technology.

Niamh Doyle​

Head of Strategic Accounts

Niamh Doyle is the Head of Strategic Accounts at Core Financial Systems, a leading Irish provider of financial management solutions.

With a broad background spanning over 25 years across multiple disciplines, geographies, customer industries, and organisation sizes, Niamh has held senior roles at Microsoft, Salesforce, and FileNet (an IBM company). Her experience includes Consulting Services, Chief of Staff, Operations, Customer Support, and International Sales Leadership.

This extensive background positions her well to lead revenue generation, customer success, retention strategies, and ongoing engagement with Core’s key accounts.

In her current role, Niamh spearheads initiatives to drive strategic growth and customer-centric solutions, in alignment with Core Financial Systems’ mission to deliver intelligent business tools for smarter decision-making.

Conor Flannery

Chief Product Officer

Conor Flannery is the Chief Product Officer at Core Financial Systems, a leading Irish provider of financial management and business intelligence solutions. In his role, Conor leads the development and innovation of Core’s product suite, with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions. Jim Bradley is Chief Technology Officer at Core Financial Systems. Jim was the architect and designer of our eBusiness Framework platform, and has over 30 years of experience as a developer, team leader and software architect.
