The company delivers tailored ERP software solutions backed by expert consulting to transform how organisations manage financial operations. Widely regarded for his strategic vision and track record in scaling teams and partnerships, Karl is committed to growing Core’s mission to deliver intelligent tools that enable smarter decision-making for its customers.

Before joining Core, Karl held senior international leadership roles at Microsoft and Salesforce, throughout his career he has focused on the impact of business applications to transform industries such as government, healthcare and education. A continuous learner, Karl holds diplomas in Strategy and Innovation and Cyber Security.

Niamh Doyle is the Chief Operating Officer at Core Financial Systems, a leading Irish provider of financial management solutions.

With a broad background spanning over 25 years across multiple disciplines, geographies, customer industries, and organisation sizes, Niamh has held senior roles at Microsoft, Salesforce, and FileNet (an IBM company). Her experience includes Consulting Services, Chief of Staff, Operations, Customer Support, and International Sales Leadership.

This extensive background positions her well to lead revenue generation, customer success, retention strategies, and ongoing engagement with Core’s key accounts.

In her current role, Niamh spearheads initiatives to drive strategic growth and customer-centric solutions, in alignment with Core Financial Systems’ mission to deliver intelligent business tools for smarter decision-making.

John Brunnock

Chief Technology Officer

John Brunnock is the Chief Technology Officer at Core Financial Systems, a leading Irish provider of financial management and business intelligence solutions. In this role, John leads the software development function, overseeing the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that power Core’s product suite.

Before joining Core Financial Systems, John held positions at Bank of Ireland and other organisations, where he built deep expertise in software engineering and DevOps practices. His technical background includes Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, as well as hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.

At Core, John combines strategic oversight with technical leadership to ensure the development team delivers robust solutions aligned with client needs. His focus on innovation and continuous improvement plays a key role in supporting Core’s mission to empower smarter business decisions through intelligent technology.
